Meet Katie Callahan!
Katie started volunteering during the flood when our rescue had a second location open for flood boarding. She then followed two of the dogs, Odie and Sadie, downtown when we were able to start consolidating resources. She really bonded with both of them and has continued to volunteer since. Katie’s favorite thing about FHI is spending time with dogs and seeing how happy they are and how well they are cared for. She volunteers five days a week in the mornings before going to her full time job and it’s a great start to each day. She has lots of favorite memories but top two are when Odie tried to crawl in her car through driver’s side window and when Marx started giving her kisses.
